Sandra founded Vibrate Higher in 2016 with the goal and desire to help others. Vibrate Higher encompasses her creativity, marketing background, and passion for yoga and health. Sandra’s travels and time spent living and vacationing abroad have helped to shape her humanitarian view and cosmopolitan interests. The Vibrate Higher Foundation is a natural extension of the Vibrate Higher brand as its purpose is to be bring Â light into the world while helping the less fortunate live and lead better lives. As an adolescent, Sandra has volunteered locally at soup kitchens, tutoring at underprivileged schools, and was consistently involved in philanthropic endeavors both locally and internationally. As a student of yoga and asana for over eleven years, Sandra recently underwent an extensive 200 yoga teacher training to be considered a certified teacher. Sandra earned her BS in Public Relations from St. John’s University in 2012 along with a minor in French. Prior to founding Vibrate Higher, Sandra was employed in Marketing Departments at major apparel and cosmetic brands. When Sandra is not working on the Vibrate Â Higher brand or Vibrate Higher Foundation, she can be found cruising the streets of NYC in search of the most delicious pizza.
Annie Thelusmond is a seasoned medical professional. She received her nursing degree from Our Lady of Wisdom Nursing School at Justinian Hospital in Cap Haitien, Haiti. Her postgraduate training includes a certificate in Anesthesiology from the State University Hospital in Port- au- Prince, a certificate in Community Health and administration from Montreal University in Canada as well as several other certificates in Adult Education, Administration, Participatory Evaluation Sustainability of Projects and Survey Methodology. A Registered Nurse by training, Mrs. Thelusmond is an honored Co-Founder of Hopital Sacre Coeur/CRUDEM, in Milot Haiti, where she served as the first Administrator and Executive Director of the board. Her efforts have helped to transform Hopital Sacre Coeur from a deficient dispensary to a fully functioning hospital equipped with 56 impatient rooms to date, an tremendous accomplishment for the limited resources available at the time. In addition, Thelusmond was the first woman chosen to be admitted to the Rotary Club of Cap Haitien, where she served as Secretary in 1998. Currently, Annie Thelusmond devotes her time and talents to her family and as Managing Nurse of Hilton Head Cardiology.
After nearly 20 years as an international corporate lawyer and keen practitioner of yoga, Yanti Amos opened Earth YogaNYC and built the business into a highly popular Upper East Side haven for people of all ages and all walks of life. Her studio has consistently won popularity awards and ranks highly in New York “Best of” reviews. Today, Earth Yoga hosts a world-class teaching team, many of whom are considered among New York's best vinyasa instructors.
Yanti is admitted to practice law in over three jurisdictions and her experience working in Australia, South East Asia, the UK and Europe for global banks gives her unique insights. She relates closely to the stress-management needs of her students and, in particular, to the needs of her private clients who work in the upper echelons of corporate America and some of the best research hospitals in the city.
In 2013 Yanti developed the curriculum for Earth Yoga's highly respected 200 Hour Yoga Alliance-approved Yoga Teacher Training and certification program which is taught by an all-star faculty. Volunteering & mentoring each week, she is an active Board member of Hosh Yoga, a not-for-profit working to offer yoga and other wellness modalities to the wider community. She is also a member of the Advisory Group of the BMCC Small Business Entrepreneurial Degree, which among other things, offers students opportunities for mentor and startup experience. She is also involved in Next Step Founders, an entrepreneurial women's group started at USC and championed by Professor Elissa Grossman of the Marshall School of Business.
As a karate black belt and active yogini, Yanti works closely as an influencer with UK apparel brand Sweaty Betty and Apple Watch, inspiring and empowering people of all ages and backgrounds through health and fitness.

Alexandra Auguste joined Vibrate Higher in 2016 after working with local non profit organizations in the growing West Indian communities in and around the Tri-State region. Passionate about human rights and public service, Alexandra has worked with organizations and attorneys who offer pro bono services to low income families. Today, her role at Vibrate Higher is to oversee our day-to -day operations. Alexandra's multilingual ability helps to bridge gaps and break barriers in the communities we serve. She earned her BS from St. John's University in Legal Studies with a focus in public service. Alexandra currently resides in Brooklyn with her family. When she's not volunteering her time to helping others, You can find Alexandra at local sporting events.
Technology & Education Advisor
Emily is a tech, wellness, and education enthusiast. She studied at Boston University and Fudan University before pursuing her Masters in Technology Management at Columbia University. Her love to learn and teach coincided with meeting Sandra at Earth Yoga’s Yoga Teacher Training.
Having worked in both corporate and educational settings, Emily focuses on using technology to improve human lives. She has been building online yoga wellness content with INNOVEVE LLC and Earth Yoga—exploring feminine qualities for empathy, gratitude and more! With an innate curiosity in how sensorial experiences impact the psyche, Emily founded Angel AHMA, which brings multi-sensorial virtual reality experiences to the lonely and anxious - from homes for the elderly to hospitals with caregivers. Emily is so grateful to serve Vibrate Higher and grow the tech lab—expanding the students’ horizons on their possibilities of courage, commitment and growth.
